About Us

We have been together for 13 years and have been married for 6 years.  We were set up by mutual friends on a backpacking trip: 5 days of no showers and close quarters.  We became friends instantly and began dating soon after.  Although we lived 1½ hours apart we made time for each other and grew close.  It was apparent to each of us that we were meant for each other.

On Being Parents

We have wanted children to add to our family for quite a while.  We are both close to our families and knew from the start that children would be in our future.  Several of our siblings have children and while we enjoy being aunt and uncle, we cannot wait to have our own children to explore the world with.  We both enjoy the outdoors and want very much to share outings at the zoo, hikes along the beach and playing at the park with a child.  We also enjoy traveling and imagine lots of trips to explore new areas and new cultures – and, of course, Disneyland is not too far away. 

 

 

On the career side, Kevin is a marketing manager for an electronics company and Pam works as a marketing consultant from our home which will give her a flexible schedule and time to stay home with the baby.  As we both have had the opportunity to go to college and obtain advanced degrees, education is extremely important to us and we hope to instill this in our children as well.
