We consider family the most important thing in the world.  Pam’s family is in California and we enjoy getting together for birthdays, holidays and other regular visits.  Our family is looking forward to a new addition for Easter egg hunts, gingerbread house parties and just getting together.  With Kevin’s family in Texas we get to share different backgrounds and traditions with our child as well.  There will be trips to the Alamo, picking bluebonnets and, of course, great barbeque.

And of course, we can not forget our wonderful dog Sydney.  She has just turned 10 and is still active, playing with all the neighborhood kids.  The kids think of her as one of them and will come ask if she can come out and play and think all the Disney DVDs are hers.

In addition to our families, we also have a close group of friends who we consider to be our extended family in San Diego.  We are lucky to have such a wonderful and diverse group of friends which we can count on. They will be the local aunts, uncles, and cousins.
